You're a lost kinda person. You like staring on Sundays, You like yelling at the weak. Every other day of the fucking week. But when you start to daydream, Your mind turns straight to digital. Tra la la Tra la la Tra lal a Tralalala... Sometimes I look at you and I look into your eyes I see nothing but lies Not too fond of love Not too fond of love You really hate enough But you just think back to digital And you're happy once again But you just think back to digital And you’re happy once again Tra la la Tra la la la la la Tra la la Tra la la Tra la la Tra la la la la You’re a lost kind of person You’re a lost kind of person You’re a lost kind of person You’re a lost kind of person You’re a lost kind of person Tra la la Tra la la la Tra la la tra la la tra la la Oh Oh Tra la la la la la la

We don’t talk anymore Digital signatures and photographs The way things used to be Was easier for you and me We don’t live anymore Click, like, heart, share But you don’t really fucking care We don’t love anymore Kiss, hug, fuck but only fans can see The depths of your depravity

No more heroes in the sky No more gods to hear us cry No more need for superstition No more fear of retribution No more idols on tv No more stars just you and me No more political ads No more lame targeted fads It’s just us now Here for each other We’ll make it through somehow It’s just us now No more heroes in the sky No more gods to hear us cry No more idols on tv No more stars just you and me No more heroes in the sky No more heroes in the sky No more heroes in the sky No more heroes in the sky No more heroes in the sky No more heroes in the sky No more heroes in the sky Just you and me No more heroes

Oh my love At the heart of it all There is nothing at all Oh my love When the thrill of it all Is nothing at all Oh my love

It was a little after 11 She was on her way to heaven The doctor said that it was hopeless That she was already gone But then a tear rolled down her face The sorrow was choking the place I looked around for life But didn’t find it there I looked around for you

Memories of smiling ones Gone before the setting sun To hold again To see your face again To love again To see you win again Memories of smiling ones Gone before the rising sun To hold again To see your face again To love again To see you win again
8.
The apocalypse of love Can we ever get enough The sadness of the old Drawing pictures for the bold To show them what’s to come To show them nothing’s new under the sun To show them nothing’s what we’ve become Except for love Except for love Except for love The genesis of love

The Door 02:33
I’m standing at the door But you’re not coming anymore I text you on the phone But I’m still sitting here alone Let’s go back to when things were better Those were times the sun shone brighter Let’s be friends one to another Here’s a drink we won’t remember I’m standing at the door But you don’t even live here anymore You threw away the key The way you’d always be with me Let’s go back to when things were better Those were times the sun shone brighter Let’s be friends one to another Here’s a drink we won’t remember We won’t remember We won’t remember I’m standing at the door But you’re not coming anymore

about

This album is an exercise in grief. Taking all of the darkness, sorrow and rage from the loss of a dear friend and turning it into noise. The album tells a story of the darkest place, and leads up to a moment of realization and a spark of hope in its conclusion.
